I pressed a few real maple leaves into the clay instead of using the stamps and the veins came out so crisp. The metallic gold paint really makes the impressions pop once everything's dry.
The botanical stamps are what sold me, and they didn't disappoint — the imprints come out crisp even on my first try. Painting the dried impressions with the metallic gold gave them a finish that looks way more expensive than the kit cost. Already planning a second batch for gifts.
The botanical stamps gave me a cleaner impression than I expected, though you need to press fairly firmly to get the fine petal lines. The metallic gold paint is the star here and covers the dried clay without looking streaky.
