The pre-cut wooden pieces snapped together so cleanly that I finished the little sofa and bookshelf in one evening. At 1:12 scale it fits perfectly next to my other miniatures, and the instructions were clear enough that I never had to guess.
I've never built a dollhouse anything before, but the 1:12 scale pieces clicked together in about an hour while I watched TV. The little sofa cushions turned out way cuter than the box photo suggested.
