水彩日記 - 森林植物

The water brush is the star here — it holds enough water to blend a whole page without refilling, and the pigments stay vivid even after they dry. I've never finished a sketchbook this fast.

I took this on a weekend hike and the 25 illustrated pages kept me busy for hours without needing extra paper. The colors go down surprisingly smooth on the watercolor paper, though I wish the felt tip pen had a finer point for detail work.

The illustrated pages are so pretty I almost didn't want to paint over them, but the paper handles a wet wash without buckling. Everything tucks into the little portfolio, so I've been carrying it on hikes and finishing a scene in one sitting.
