The pre-scored fold lines are a lifesaver for my 5-year-old, who gets frustrated when things don't line up right. She made the little 3D animals in one afternoon and was so proud of herself. The scissors being ambidextrous is a nice touch since she's still figuring out which hand she prefers.

The little scissors actually work for both my left-handed daughter and her right-handed cousin, which I didn't expect. The pre-scored fold lines mean she can do most of the folding herself without me hovering. We've made four of the 3D animals so far and she's already asking for the next one.

My 5-year-old actually asks to do this instead of watching TV now, which I never expected. The pre-scored fold lines make it possible for her to build the 3D animals without me hovering, though she still needs help with the trickier notches.
