I've never built a dollhouse before and the 1:12 scale fit perfectly with the miniature furniture I already had. The instructions made the sink and tub assembly way less fiddly than I expected, only took me one evening.
The pre-cut wooden pieces snapped together so cleanly I didn't even need glue, which was a nice surprise for a 1:12 scale kit. My daughter claimed it for her dollhouse the second I finished the tiny sink.
