Make & Paint Gingerbread Clay Ornaments

The cookie cutters made way cleaner shapes than I expected, and the buttons pressed in without cracking the clay. My kids actually stayed at the table for an hour painting them, which never happens.

My niece and I spent a whole rainy Saturday rolling out the clay and pressing the cookie cutters, and the buttons she added to each gingerbread man came out so cute. The clay held the stamped details well without cracking. We're already planning a second batch for holiday gifts.
