The spiral binding lets me flip the pages all the way around, which is way easier than fighting a glued pad. Colored pencils lay down smooth on this paper without any fuzz, though I wish it came in a bigger size.

The 100 sheets go a long way, and the 50 lb paper holds up nicely with my colored pencils without bleeding through to the next page. The spiral binding lets me flip it back flat while sketching, which I appreciate.

I've been using this pad for colored pencil work and the 50 lb paper holds up well without pilling, even after several layers. The 100 sheets mean I'm not rationing pages, which is nice when I'm just doodling to warm up.
